September 2004
Hot summer days for Collage and Fashion Peace as we raged with recyclers at the Warped Tour Festival on Randalls Island. Our general store rewarded concert goers with stickers, posters, necklaces, and CDs for trading in discarded bottles and cans. The bartering was fast and furious as hipsters, skateboarders, and punk rockers scoured up for hundreds of festival ground empties to trade for their favorite rock paraphernalia.

Kicking-off Fashion Week with a little eco-flare and sustainable style, Organic Style Magazine and Angela Lindvall will co-host a Launch Party and Benefit on September 8th. The party will celebrate Organic Style's new look and latest cover piece featuring Angela's eco-friendly houseboat, designed with products from savvy businesses that want to save the planet while making a buck, such as GAIAM, Lifekind, and ABC Carpet. Meant for more than just oogling models and sipping Mai Tai's, the party is also a Silent Auction fundraiser, with proceeds going to keep the Collage Foundation alive and kickin'!

The Collage team is all about the Bioneers Conference (www.bioneers.org). ( Bioneers is a nonprofit organization that promotes practical environmental solutions and innovative social strategies for restoring the Earth and communities.) Angela will be featured on a panel about the media. She canŐt wait to meet all of you so make sure you stop by the panel and say hello.
