At Collage, we believe the first step toward making a change lies in recognizing that things could be different than they are. Accordingly, the Collage foundation is driven by the goal of showing today's youth they have real choices about their role in the world, and the power to make a difference in a variety of ways. Collage provides the information, tools and support required for an engaged alterntative to apathy about today's complex environmental and social issues. These resources show young people how to recognize the problems, learn about how role models (including celebrities, scientists, and artists) have responded, and make their own informed decisions. It's this kind of combination that goes beyond awareness to inspire action. Though the issues are serious, Collage aims to present them in stimulating, entertaining and even fun ways. Fostering interactivity between organizations and connections between creative minds, Collage shows that there are other concerned people out there, and brings together the best examples of just how exciting making a positive impact can be.
